Admissions

The short answer here is simple. Almost anyone. Nearly everyone can come away from an outdoor experience with improved physical, mental, and emotional health with stress and anxiety being decreased. Being outdoors and on the water alone can be refreshing, but when you add the dynamics of Passages Alaska it allows for our students to experience change and growth. Our current focus is on serving adolescent males ages 14-17. The students that respond best to this type of experience usually have or are experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD and technology addiction, along with other mental health issues. Minimum program length is 8-12 weeks with a general graduation at 12 weeks, but there are opportunities to extend as needed or desired.

Who can benefit from participating in our program?

Equal Opportunity

Passages Alaska does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, religion, or any other protected status in the administration of its programs and services. We are committed to providing equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations for qualified participants.

Admission decisions are based on program fit, safety considerations, and the ability of our staff and setting to meet a student’s needs.

If you’re interested in learning more to help you answer that question, after reviewing the information here, please feel free to reach out and we’ll set up a time for a no obligation consultation. Thanks for your time and we look forward to hearing from you!
